New

Revelation 21:5:

And the one sitting on the throne said, “Look, I am making everything new!” And then he said to me, “Write this down, for what I tell you is trustworthy and true.”

Happy New Year! 2021 is in the rear-view mirrors now and is officially in the memory book. I hope it was one of joy and blessings for you.

Now it is time to turn our attention to a New Year filled with opportunities. I love as Revelation 21 says that we serve a God that makes all things new. We have before us a whole year to use each day to engage and influence others to follow Jesus and experience the “new” that only He can provide.

What will be different for you during this year is that at the end, you will be able to say that it was “new.” This year you may resolve to learn a new skill, run a marathon, spend more time with family, or read through the Bible. Whatever you do this year, make sure that you do something new that you have genuinely never done before.

I look forward to engaging with each of you as we dream and plan together with the possibilities God has for us as the Methodist Foundation of Mississippi. Let us embrace the “new” and live it in 2022. Journeying Together
