

College Scholarship Application
Status: Closed
Eligible students must be Mississippi residents*, active in a United Methodist congregation or Wesley Foundation in Mississippi. Non-seminary graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for up to four scholarship awards. Deadline is April 1st.
*Residency requirement waived for International students, students active at Court Street United Methodist Church, or students with family ties to Copiah County.
You will need:
- Current Photo (click here for guidelines)
- One page Essay (New students: About you, your faith, your life goals) (Returning students: updates about you, faith and how the Methodist Foundation of Mississippi is helping you achieve your goals)
- Resume (Resumes must include either College or High School:
- Organizational membership
- Leadership positions
- Sports, band, or other activities
- Honors and Awards
- Community Involvement
- Work Experience
- If Graduating High School, your resume must also include:

- Name and Address of High School
- Graduation Date

- Transcript (official or unofficial- can be submitted later by email, fax, or mail)
