 Eligible students must be Mississippi residents*, active in a Methodist/Wesleyan heritage congregation or Wesley Foundation in Mississippi. Non-seminary graduate and undergraduate students are eligible for up to four scholarship awards. Deadline is April 15th. Please contact us at jennifer@methodistfm.org if you have any questions.

*Residency requirement waived for International students, students active at Court Street United Methodist Church, or students with family ties to Copiah County.

 You will need:

  • Current Photo (click here for guidelines)
  • Essay:  (New students: About you, your faith, your perception of generosity, your life goals & the legacy you would like to leave) (Returning students: updates about you, faith, generosity, & how the Methodist Foundation of Mississippi is helping you achieve your goals & how it has enabled you to leave a legacy.)
  • Resume  (Resumes must include either College or High School:
    1. Organizational membership
    2. Leadership positions
    3. Sports, band, or other activities
    4. Honors and Awards
    5. Community Involvement
    6. Work Experience
    7. If Graduating High School, your resume must also include:
        1. Name and Address of High School
        2. Graduation Date
  • Transcript (official or unofficial- can be submitted later by email, fax, or mail)
