As an Army Chaplain, I have had the opportunity to travel around the world and see so many different historical sites, places, and cultures. I realized that I would find myself at a new location and thinking my wife, Traci, would love to see this or one of my sons. There is something about experiencing life with the people that you love that makes life complete. Jesus told his Disciples, 

“Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:35 NLT

This unique love that Jesus speaks about was so evident that everyone around us would be able to see how much we are in love with one another. It would be proof that following Jesus would lead to a transformative life. It is this type of love that wants everyone to be a part of the story with us. We want everyone to be able to experience what we have been able to see with our eyes.

As we indeed head toward autumn, we are reminded that another season has passed. What will we be known for when our season has passed? You and I are filling in the pages of life with the pen in our hands. We need to fill these pages with all the love that Jesus has shared with us and allowed us to share with others. Let our legacy be that we loved all the way to heaven.
