You know the rest of the phrase, right? I do not think we are quite ready to go just yet. Many thought 2021 would bring a quick and certain end to the pandemic and freedom to roam the skies again. The reality seems that we still have a while to go before people will be able to travel without concerns about illness.
We are not even sure when churches will gather fully in-person, and meetings will be held in-person. The good news is that we are still gathering in creative ways and continuing the work of ministry in a Covid-19 setting. I celebrate the creative work of churches to meet the challenges of a new ministry setting. I also know that many are ready to map out a new journey in 2021.
The work of the Foundation changed in a Covid-19 world with meetings on Zoom, video production, and very limited in-person experiences. The good news is that churches received resources, accounts were tended, and stewardship ideas shared. We are beginning to shape the journey of this New Year as the Foundation begins with an updated name and logo. I invite you to join us on the journey.
