Benjamin Franklin was on the right track with the above quote. The Board of the Methodist Foundation of Mississippi takes their responsiblilty and commitment to our Foundation seriously.  A learning opportunity for all Board Members was scheduled for Tuesday, September 26, 2023 with Gerber/Taylor Management and Dr. Todd Marion leading the educational component.  The Seminar covered Investment Progams, Fiduciary Duties, Long and Short Term Investment objectives, Risks and Returns, Portfolio Management, Methodology and much more.  Board Members took advantage of the opportunity and enjoyed the chance to ask questions and understand more about the processes and policies used in our Foundation’s investments. 

This educational opportunity is just one method we have employed to ensure we are serving you effectively.  Our Board takes our mission to resource the Church for effective ministry and fruitful generosity seriously.  We want to help Methodist and Wesleyan congregations make the most of their financial resources as they continue the important work of making disciples of Jesus.

Our work with our partners will continue as we move toward the end of 2023.
