Over this past week, I said goodbye to my mother as she entered the church triumphant. I am guessing; like most children, I considered my mother to be the best one of all. Yet, amid the hurt of the loss, I was constantly reminded of the love that followers of Jesus show toward one another through the many texts, messages, cards, and the presence of so many friends during this time. This is when the church shines best! It is when we prove that we love one another. My family would like to thank all of you for your kindness and love during this time. We are thankful for our Methodist Family that has shown us an outpouring of love.
