Our Story
Since 1967, the Methodist Foundation of Mississippi, Inc. has partnered with churches and related organizations to equip, educate, and invest. We provide short term and long term investment options, manages endowments and trusts for a variety of purposes, and offers presentations and programs to assist pastors and laity.
The Foundation is a separate 501(C)(3) organization and holds all accounts in the strictest of confidence.

The Foundation offers investment management services through professionally managed investment funds. The Foundation accepts and administers funds for the conferences, local churches and other institutions, agencies and boards of the Methodist Churches, its predecessors, and successors, primarily in the state of Mississippi. The Long-Term Fund is designed to provide long-term growth of capital through an attractive total return generated through a combination of capital appreciation and income consistent with a long-term time horizon. The Short-Term Fund provides a dependable source of income and liquidity consistent with a short-term time horizon. The Short-Term Fund guarantees the interest rate and the deposits of its account holders. The Foundation bears the investment risk. Short-Term Fund deposits are assured access to their funds within 1-3 business days. There is no investment minimum. The Short-Term Fund interest rate is 5.35%.The Foundation offers investment management services through professionally managed investment funds. The Foundation seeks to serve institutions of the Wesleyan tradition or Methodist heritage. We also seek to serve organizations who support Methodists.
